All interactions on HireMyProfile — including messages, proposals, reviews, and deal-room discussions — must remain professional and respectful.

• Use clear, honest, and courteous language in all communications.
• Do not use offensive, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory language.
• Avoid unsolicited promotional messages or spam in conversations.
• Do not pressure, manipulate, or coerce other users into agreements.
• Respond to messages and requests in a timely and professional manner.

2. Honest and Accurate Profiles

Your profile is your professional identity on HireMyProfile. You are responsible for keeping it accurate and truthful at all times.

• Do not misrepresent your skills, qualifications, experience, or identity.
• Do not use fake names, photos, or credentials.
• Do not impersonate another person, company, or brand.
• Portfolio items must be your own original work or clearly credited to the rightful owner.
• Business profiles on PartnerMatch must accurately represent the company, its current stage, and its requirements.

3. Fair Dealing and Commitments

HireMyProfile is built on trust. Users must honour the commitments they make to each other through the platform.

• Deliver work on time and to the agreed standard as outlined in the contract.
• Communicate proactively if timelines, scope, or availability need to change.
• Do not accept work you are not qualified or available to complete.
• Buyers must provide clear briefs, timely feedback, and fair payment as agreed.
• Do not attempt to take transactions off-platform to avoid fees or bypass platform protections.
• Honour all NDA and confidentiality agreements signed through PartnerMatch.

4. No Harassment or Discrimination

HireMyProfile has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and discrimination of any kind.

• Do not harass, bully, or intimidate other users.
• Do not discriminate based on gender, race, religion, nationality, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
• Do not make unwanted romantic or sexual advances toward other users.
• Do not share private information about another user without their explicit consent.
• Report any harassment you experience or witness using the platform's reporting tools.

5. No Fraud or Deceptive Practices

Fraudulent behaviour undermines the trust of the entire community and will result in immediate account action.

• Do not create fake reviews, ratings, or testimonials for yourself or others.
• Do not submit plagiarised work or AI-generated content without disclosure where required.
• Do not use stolen payment methods or engage in any form of financial fraud.
• Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, limits, or platform restrictions.
• Do not misuse the dispute or refund system to extract payments unfairly.
• Do not post fake job listings, investment opportunities, or partnership offers.

6. Respect for Privacy and Confidentiality

Users must respect the privacy of others and handle all sensitive information responsibly.

• Do not share another user's personal information, contact details, or private messages outside the platform.
• Treat all information shared in deal rooms, NDA agreements, and private conversations as strictly confidential.
• Do not use data obtained through HireMyProfile for unsolicited marketing or third-party purposes.
• Report any suspected data breach or privacy violation to our support team immediately.

7. Responsible Use of Platform Features

All platform features — including messaging, proposals, job postings, gigs, PartnerMatch, and payments — must be used for their intended purpose only.

• Do not use the platform to distribute malware, phishing links, or any harmful content.
• Do not attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.
• Do not post illegal content, including content that violates local or international law.
• Do not use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform without written permission from HireMyProfile.
• All job postings and service listings must be genuine, legal, and accurately described.

8. PartnerMatch-Specific Standards

The PartnerMatch section connects founders, investors, franchise seekers, and strategic partners. Additional standards apply to all PartnerMatch activity:

• All investment, co-founder, and franchise opportunities must be genuine and legally compliant in your jurisdiction.
• Do not solicit funds or investments without proper legal authorization.
• Business information shared in deal rooms must be accurate and not misleading to potential partners.
• Respect the confidentiality of all parties involved in a deal or negotiation at every stage.
• Do not use PartnerMatch to recruit users away from the platform for competing services.

9. Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it. HireMyProfile takes all reports seriously and investigates them confidentially.

• Use the "Report" button available on profiles, messages, and listings wherever applicable.
• Contact our support team directly for urgent or serious violations.
• Provide as much detail as possible — including screenshots, URLs, and a clear description of the incident.
• False or malicious reports are themselves a violation of this Code of Conduct and may result in account action.

10. Consequences of Violations

HireMyProfile reserves the right to take action against any user who violates this Code of Conduct. Depending on the severity and frequency of the violation, actions may include:

• A formal warning issued to the user's account.
• Temporary suspension of account access or specific platform features.
• Removal of content, listings, proposals, or reviews that violate this policy.
• Permanent termination of the account without refund of any fees paid.
• Reporting to relevant legal authorities where criminal activity is suspected.

11. Updates to This Policy

This Code of Conduct may be updated periodically to reflect changes in platform features, community standards, or applicable law. Continued use of HireMyProfile after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Code of Conduct. Last reviewed: June 2026.
